Everything we do runs on community support. There's no paid staff here — just people who love live music putting in the time to make it happen. Here's how you can be part of it.
​Become a Member - $30/year
Members save $10 on every show. Attend three times and your membership has paid for itself.

Your membership also helps us in ways that go beyond ticket sales. When we apply for grants, membership numbers are one of the first things funders look at. The more members we have, the more support we can secure to keep bringing great artists to Vernon.

Members also receive our newsletter with early show announcements and can vote at the Annual General Meeting.

Volunteer Roles
Every show you've been to at the Vernon Jazz Club was put on entirely by volunteers. We need people for show nights — selling tickets at the door, running the 50/50 draw, and helping with merchandise. You can commit to every show, a few shows, or just be on call when we're short-handed.

In return, volunteers get free admission to every show, plus invites to our volunteer parties where the food, drinks, and occasional jam sessions are on us.
​
If you're more of a behind-the-scenes person, we also need help with things like website updates, social media, and newsletter coordination.
​Join The Board
If you want to help shape the direction of the society, we're always open to new board members. We welcome people from all backgrounds and will match your skills to where we need the most help. The best way to start is to sit in on a board meeting and see if it's a good fit.
Board elections take place at our AGM each year, but you're welcome to get involved before then.
