About the event
Renowned roots songwriters John Wort Hannam and T. Buckley form The Woodshed, a contemporary folk duo from Alberta. The name The Woodshed originates from the beginning of Buckley and Hannam's partnership—crafting songs together during a residency at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity in 2017. Following an enthralling performance at the 2023 Canadian Folk Music Awards, Buckley and Hannam decided to formalize their collaboration and officially establish The Woodshed. Together, they offer a stunning vocal blend of brotherly harmonies paired with bold, sophisticated songwriting and intricate guitar work. We are thrilled to host The Woodshed for their debut performance at Celtic Colours.
